4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly cloudy, rose-pink color, with an old-lace head that quickly dissipates. Nose is slightly tart cherry, followed by some slightly tart cherry. Taste is significantly more sour, although the berry and cherry notes come through loud and clear. Crisp and light, with almost a fruit soda profile. Terrific for the style. Not too sweet.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught @ Duvelorium, Brugge. Pours slightly hazy rich ruby with small off-white head. Slightly dusty aroma with notes of cherries and yeast. Vinous flavour of cherries, with dusty and malty notes and bitter, hoppy touches. Sweetish and vinous aftertaste. Good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Suesser Einheitsbrei.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Bierzwerg. The beer pours out in a hazy dirty brownish colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of mild vinegar and sugar. Taste of sweet cherries, light acid, leaves and barley. Sugary finish. Drinkable, yet nothing special and too sugary.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 2014, BBE indecipherable. Chestnut red body with small and quickly-diminishing head. Sharp, sour aroma of strong cherry and earthiness. Immediate, moderate sweetness followed by an intense tart sourness. Candy/sherbet cherry flavour. Quite full in body with a slightly sticky, foamy texture. Fizzy, with a lasting finish. Overall, a very good example of a sour

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
375ml bottle. Amber/brown pour. Nose is grassy, oaky, cherries, touch of vinegar. Slight reminders of cough syrup in there. Taste is oaky, cherries. Kind of has the sugary sweetness of a faro, and only a slight sourness to it. Quite pleasant but not as challenging as the better fruited Belgian sours. I think it would probably make a good entry beer for someone new to the style though.
