2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On the sweeter side, but very refreshing, not something I’d drink often, but for the occational drink, its good. Mango is the dominate flavor, with some tartness.ok.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Interesting, not what I would call tropical, but different. Wildly fruity nose, some spicy sweetness, with some passionfruit and mango, mixed with the same recipe as the Peche.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: Golden yellow, light head, some lacing. Nose if fruity, some mango and little spice. Flavor is a lot like the peach, with some basic mangoness going on. Along the same lines as the Peche, just blagh.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pour is clear golden yellow with a thin dense white head...smell is chemical sweet with some definate "tropical" fruit...whether it was mango or not, I could not say...taste is artificial sweetner, faint fruity tartness, blech...

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a light copper/amber color, without much of a head. Aroma captures the essence of mango, with some yeast and some spices. You can taste the mango with the first sip. There is definitely some sweetness, but not over-powering. Very crisp and very refreshing.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Yellowish golden, fairly clear, moderate foamy white head, nice lacing, very light carbonation. Passion fruit, mango, starfruit, and guava on the nose. Smells very much like a wine cooler. Heh, tastes very much like a wine cooler, but without all the bubblies. Fairly sweet, but not yet cloying. Body and mouthfeel are average. Doesn’t finish like a beer at all... yeah, more like a wine cooler than an actual beer. Not bad, but certainly unique.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(375 ml corked and caged bottle: $4.49 at BevMo in La Jolla, CA) As a beer, I’d say this isn’t very good, but as a sweet fruit juice, I can see the appeal this might have for some. But I prefer natural fruit juice, not artifically sweetened ones, and this one tastes like it has a heavy dose of high-fructose corn syrup. To me, it tastes like a blend of mango, apricot, peach and white grape juice, with a bit of "dessert" spices thrown in. Only a slight hint of tartness far in the background can briefly be detected on the mid-palate, and then poof, it’s gone. And certainly, the tartness is not nearly forceful enough to even begin to balance the sweetness of this malt beverage (I still hesitate to call it beer). Tart mango is much more apparent in the nose, and so the aroma shows a modicum of balance, but the aroma of sweet white grape juice is fairly obvious to me as well. Since it’s all sticky and sugary in the mouth, it’s hard to describe the body, but I’ll go with light-medium I guess. Carbonation is fairly gentle, so as long as you can deal with the sugary sweetness, it’s pretty easy to drink. At least for me, though, without anything to balance the sugary sweetness, this is a very cloying beverage. Golden in color and clear as could be, and there is no sediment in the bottle either. It does pour with a solid inch of whitish head, and that gradually settles to a filmy layer, leaving a few small patches of lace on the glass. Honestly, few serious Belgian beer fans will enjoy this beer, and it seems targeted more as a "chick" beer. I don’t hate it, but that’s because I’m not judging this as a beer, but as a carbonated beverage. Plus, I really love the flavor of mango, even if it is unnaturally sweetened.
