Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel. [vintage 2006]
Pours a clear red-brown with a small beige-like creamy head. Aroma is funky, barnyard, raspberries, smoky and oaky. Very fresh and lively mouthfeel. Flavour is relatively sour, but well-balanced, some raspberries and oakynes.

Bottle. Aroma of raspberry yeast and earthen funk. Poured brownish ruby pink froth. Flavor was raspberry and yeast. Palate was filling and lively and sweet tart. Overall, yeah, I’ll get more.

Bottle shared courtesy of biggcb. Corked stamped ’1999’. Poured a medium amberish color with a very small sized head. Aromas of cherries, berries, and a little funky. Tastes of raspberries, berries, yeast, and a little funky. Medium tart finish.

Thanks to biggcb, bottle from 1999. Pours a lightly hazy raspberry orange with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of raspberry, tart, cork, some funkiness settling in and various mixed berries. Flavor of sweet tarts, smarties, raspberries, tart and kind of funky but sweet.

375ml Botle. Pours a dark red/ light brown body with nice head, lots of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is of light barnyeard, sourness, and beeries. Flavor is slightly sour with a nice raspberry touch, light yeast and some barnyard. Very smooth, enjoyable and different then what I expected.

(bottle) Pours a muddy brown with a small off white head. Aroma has a hint of raspberry, and slight brown sugar. Taste was not too sour, quite sweet actually with a little raspberry and brown sugar.

12oz (???) bottle bought last Sept in Belgium, wife never drank it so it’s fair game now. Pours a deep blood red with fizzy dirty pink foam that has decent retention and lacing. Aroma is a lot of oak with a very nice not-too-sweet raspberry note to it. Flavor relatively sweet, but never really cloying, so much more going on than sugar, very nice maltiness, spot on tartness, the raspberry really is almost second fiddle to everything else going on. Mouthfeel is absolutely awesome considering it’s only 4.5%abv.

Bottle Vintage 2004: Pours a nice ruby color with an initially thick tan colored head that completely vanishes. Raspberry puree nose, with light yogurt/lactic notes and with a swirl a touch of farmhouse funk. Light fluffy body. Not at all syrupy or thick. Not very sour in the flavor. Has a slight tartness from the raspberry character, but doesn’t have a full-scale fruit or sour character. Has blackberry hints along with cork flavors as well. Overall it easy going, and has decent character for 4.5% ABV. I think I’m just spoiled from raspberry beers from brewers like New Glarus.
