Probably wouldnt really think it is beer unless I was told so. Sort of an carbonated alcoholic fruit juice. But, even though it does not really taste like beer, it is still very delicious. It is very bubbly and crisp with a fruity champagne coming to mind. This is an exceptional beer with a good aftertase and a subtleness that is very appealing. bluevegie (2185), Perth, Australia
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 9, 2004 Cherry red colour with a touch of murkiness and a tinge of brown. Medium sized tan coloured head that lasted well and left some lace. The aroma was there, full but not overpowering raspberry. Taste is all raspberry, smooth full and long lasting, needs to be more sour for me though I still think it is a top drop and more preferable than the Kriek. Cheers! skaughty (621), Marietta, Georgia, USA

This is the "all natural" opponent to the Lou Pepe line by Cantillon. The pour, scent flavor and palate were all preferrable to the Cantillon (in terms of "enjoyability". This is prepared just right, and finsihes, just like it starts - on top. Eructoblaster (1480), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 31, 2004 Very nice ruby body topped with a good brownish head. The beer exhales a strong and inviting natural raspberry aroma. The struggle between fruitiness and bitterness is more than pleasant to the mouth. Final is relatively discreet compared to other flemish sour ales. This is a fantastic beer I definitely recommend as a perfect aftermeal. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 29, 2004 2003 bottle: Pop! Poured a murkey muddy red brown. Medium bubbly short lasted light brown head. Nice lace. Huge raspberry aroma overwhelms anything else. Smells real though, not artificial. Smooth slightly thin mouthfeel. Sweet raspberry taste dominates at first. Then it changes to being sour and acidic, not too strong though. Aftertaste has a hint of nutty maltiness to it, which lingers along with the raspberrys. Really nice stuff! AustinMilbarge (681), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 19, 2004 Lots of deep raspberry aroma. A little on the sweet side without sour. Needs more sour to balance the sweet. Needs more carbonation. joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada
