Pours a deep glowing ruby red with a moderate slightly frothy pink head. The aroma is upfront sweet raspberries, background tart and spice, faint Belgian must. Very sweet and tart raspberry flavor. Very nice. Not quite as sweet as Lindemans. Dry spice. Lovely carbonation. Wonderful mouthfeel and finish.

Bottle. Pours reddish\brown with a pink head. Aroma of fermented raspberries and sugary sweetness. Flavor is mostly raspberries, sweet up-front, and has a tart sour finish. Good body, good brew.

Bottle, pours a hazy ruby red with little head. A tangy preserved raspberry aroma with plenty of zestiness that reduces the sweetness - I love it. The sweetness doesn’t come straight away as the carbonation and sourness dominates the palate at first. This then gives way to the raspberry sweetness, which might be a little syrupy, but apart from that is pretty pleasant. But the finish cleanses with some good sourness. I like it, and so does The GrandMistress.

Fantastic bouquet aroma of tannined raspberries, including stems, but of the finest freshness. Sweet juicy berries right off the bush and right into the beer, the way berries added to beer should be. Running with this, a light caramel and then the galloping tides of sourness, precipitating in a luxurious blanket of steaming grains, lemon rinds and apple cores. Delicate, fragrant and intoxicating. Pour is a sensous ripe red raspberry juice, fringed with gold and topped with a creamy soft head, tinged florid amber. A single core of fuming carbonation. Flavor is redolent with sweet raspberry juice, frozen. Then a current of light malts sugars, mostly parched into oaky submission and glazed with sourness. Gentle and delicate. The sourness only dabs a parching sensation as it moves into a light haybarn grassy hop balance in the backend. The berries carry this whole train down the track. Edges of Brett crawl up my sinuses in the smack. A long heavy smack of raspberry caramel. Exquisite! Really the best summer beer a person could drink. As I continue to drink this, the impact and quality of the flavor becomes more static and less impressive, so I tend to pull it down some.

Pale reddish burghundy pour, minimal head formation. Sweet jammy, raspberry aroma. Sweet berry fruit juice palate, a touch of sourness and cheesiness towards the end but remaining predominantly sweet.

Draft tulip shaped snifter at 3Floyd’s. Sweet raspberry smell, of course. Color is red-brown with smoke in appearance. A thin fizzy soda head. Taste is of raspberries, with sourness more from fruit than anything else, although I would guess at some brett. Creaminess in mouthfeel, which at first I put to wheat but just maybe the light Belgian malts. In other words, it’s a fruit beer that keeps much of its beer background instead of being some soda pop.

This is delicious tangy beer. It Pours with a massive head that has real staying power! It has a slice a of sweetness with a whipped topping of bitterness with a side of tang! A lot of different flavours going on in this brew... Overall, a good buy but maybe it needs more ...funk perhaps, i don’t know but it needs something... but i did enjoy it! ’shared with The Capitol City Goofball’

375 ml bottle @ Kristiansand Lambic festival. Dark red, almost brown body with a pink head. Aroma is fruity raspberries. Flavor is fine, balanced sweet, acid and fruity. Fine, not extraordinary.
