Dark red, almost purple, and therefore looked goo in the wineglass it was served with. Aroma of natrual acidic rasberries. Flavor is sour in the acidic/tart way, which i really enjoy, and i therefore find it extremly refreshing. nimbleprop (951), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA

Got this one for the girlfriend but it was surprisingly balanced. Looks, tastes and smells like raspberries. Slight malt offsets the sweet fruit flavor. Finish keeps the fruity flavor in the mouth. More balanced than other lambics you might have had. TaxiDriver (948), Stadland, Germany

Average sized creamy off-white head, normal long lasting, very dark red body. Moderate sweet and light acidic, medium duration. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, medium astringent finish. Nice summer beer. Rockinout (946), Kent, Ohio, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 14, 2003 Pure raspberry goodness. The color was a unique (to me at least) reddish/brownish/strawberriesh murky hue with a small beige head. The aroma was definitely dominated by raspberriess...not imitation, syrupy rasberries, but the real thing. Some tartness lingered in the aroma as well. The flavor was very sweet...raspberry of course, but even some tartness, sourness, and woody tones present. Very crisp feel and a somewhat dry finish. Extremely enjoyable brew. reakt (939), Greater London, England

Lovely nose of dark berries and sour lemons. Tart taste of berries, vinegar and oak. Clean finish. Wonderful spritzy mouthfeel. Very natural all around. ravidesai (915), Bombay, India

It didn’t strike me as a beer, but then what does that really mean anyway? Big raspberry aroma and flavour, reminds me of warm current bread or fresh cherry juice. Its almost like a raspberry cooler with a subtle malt backbone. I sipped on it for a long time. Not sure if it is worth the price or the funny looks from people when I unwrap it from the paper and then uncork a reddish sparkling beverage and then claim it to be beer, but then again, who cares.
