25 cl bottle. Opened bottle and warmed it in a pot like hot sake to about 50 degrees. Deep, dark, cherry red color. Rich and fragrant cherry aroma, tart and slightly milky. Tart cherry flavor, sweet and sour, with quite a bit of carbonation remaining. Slightly lactic, citric. Spicy, but restrained. Works very nicely warm. Great balance, fragrance is loosened by the heat. A strange experience at first, but I could get used to this in winter.

Bottle thanks to and shared with xnoxhatex. Not sure of date.. I think it was 2000. Pours a murky unclear dark maroon purple with no head. Aroma is sweet cherry hard candy, strongly spiced but within reason, light cinnamon and clove, cherry candy cane, touch of vinegar. Flavor follows, very sweet cherry candy cane, sweet cider like, light sourness that plays a great supporting role, tea leafs, christmas spices, seriously like a christmas cider. Flat body, viscous, not sticky. A nice treat. Thanks Dev!

750. In Hanoi at the My Way Opera House location. Served two ways with a warmed/steamed ceramic mug and also a glass of ice. Pours a brownish red color, flat looking. Aroma is like Quelque Chose dark cherries, not sweet but not sour either. Spicy with cinnamon and clove. Soft flat palate. Fairly light body. Nice rich cherry flavors with subtle mulling spices. Not overly spicy but not sweet either. Has cherry tartness and pie filling quality. Cherry pie beer, especially at room temperature and warm. The ice cubes added bring out the sweet-tart-spice profile even more and is very nice. Pleasant stuff, and is innocuous enough to go with food (seafood spring roll for example).

355mL bottle with 1998 on the cork (I didn’t think it was that old.. but it’s possible). Poured clear garnet with light sediment suspended in there.. basically nothing going on head-wise. The aroma picked up deep, syrupy cherries and a blend of Halloween and Christmas-inspired spices with underlyers of oak and vanilla.. positively intriguing. The flavor had cherry pie filling (lightly-tart with some sugar) at the core with the same blend of spices laced throughout.. left cinnamon and nutmeg on the finish with cherries and a touch of oak.. long impression on that finish. Medium-bodied with great balance between the spices and sweeter cherries on the palate.. no detrimental effects of age.. really good stuff!

Rated warm. A dark red coloured beer with almost no head. Aroma is better when its cold.Heavy cherrie and alcohol aroma. Flavour of sweet cherries, alcohol and some hints of sourness in the aftertaste. Pretty good for a warm beer. (corked bottle 75cl)

Almost no head, wonder if its supposed to be this poorly carbonated. Deep red body. Beautiful nose of baked apple, ripe cherry, and heavy spices, espically cinnamon. Interesting taste of mulled wine with clove and cinnamon, cherry and apple. This is very unusual but very tasty stuff! Soft palate with almost no carbonation. Tastes like christmas, hmmmm...
