Bottle. Tasted both at fridge temperature and heated 70°C as suggested on the label. Dark amber color. Cold version has a minimal head and heated has a medium thick foamy reddish white head. Sour aroma of cherries. Heated version has a lot smoother aroma and taste. Heated one tastes quite much like a German Glühwein with more cherries added.

Corpo pieno, poco carbonata.

sample from draft, pretty weird, served hot.. poured a murky deep dark red amber colour. nose of hot cherries, sweet raspberries, cinnamon, sweet, cookie dough, this doesn’t work hot. weird. and unpleasant.

Enjoyed warm at Hand Beer bar, Falmouth. It pours dark ruby with no head (due to the mulling no doubt). The nose is rich, fragrant, bitter - sweet, festive spice, orange peel, red grape and mulled wine. The taste is very juicy, rich tangy fruits, red grape, cherry jam, spice, light tartness and some mouth - pucker with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and limited carbonation. This is really delicious hot. Tangy, fruit and sour. Tasty.

Keg, CAMRA festival, Colchester Winter Beer Festival, 27/1/2016. Redish black colour. Aroma of cherries and hot tea. Taste is earl grey tea, cherries and mulled wine. Strange. Served far too hot.

100ml sample. Clear ruby-red, small pink head. Simple sweetened sour cherry aroma. Same taste, sweet and sour, no funk, just some fruit stone bitterness. It’s indeed better drank warm/hot - less perceivable sweetness and gets some mulled wine-like spiciness. (backlog 17-JAN-2016).

0,75 l Flasche. Dunkelrotes Bier, rosa Schaum, der relativ schnell abbaut. Süß mit leicht säuerlichem Kirscharoma. Ordentlicher Glühweinersatz.

Aroma: sour cherry, some alcohol, cloves, caradamon. Taste: sweet with cherry sourness. Flavour: sour cherry and lot of spices. Warmer it become better. Good fruit spice warmer, replace for hot wine.

Sweet cherry with hints of spice.. Red in color, dark... Sweet cherry dominates taste as well... The spice are more noticeable if you heat the beer, I think I prefer it cold.. Not overly complex palette mostly cherry but some freshness that doesn’t make it to sweet...nice one...
