I find this beer to be one of my best beer experiences. The spice notes both warm and cold were wonderful. Not overpowering, but enough to tantilize my brain. The cherry notes are highlihgted by a sherry-like quality. Very low carbonation, but that did not bother me due to it’s wine characteristics. I found that heating in a bath of tepid water worked wonders for the flavor over the microwave. A truly remarkable beer!

From belgiuminabox. Great at room temp, at the level of best krieks, with a not much agressive tartness. However, at the recommended serving temp of . 70C it loses its body and sweetness and becomes a watery and acid hot mess. I give my punctuation as the room temp version. Otherwise It would receive an average of around 1.

Søtlig smak, mandler, kirsebær også i smak, alkoholen kommer noe i smak.

Corpo pieno, poco carbonata.

Enjoyed warm at Hand Beer bar, Falmouth. It pours dark ruby with no head (due to the mulling no doubt). The nose is rich, fragrant, bitter - sweet, festive spice, orange peel, red grape and mulled wine. The taste is very juicy, rich tangy fruits, red grape, cherry jam, spice, light tartness and some mouth - pucker with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and limited carbonation. This is really delicious hot. Tangy, fruit and sour. Tasty.
