Infinitely complex in aroma and flavor with notes of maltiness and tartness throughout. An unsurpassed old brown with the richness and complexity of a vintage wine.

Dar red pour with a thin film of head. Cherry liquor nose. Particles floating in beer with a crispness. Over ripe cherry flavor with berries and a faint cherry finish.

Bottle. Poured a ruddy color with a nice tan head. Aroma is somewhat vinegary, with alcohol, sour cherry, and a bit of must. Tart flavor, with some sweetness, and earthy as well.

Beautiful ruby brown with a disappearing off-white head. Aroma is fruity, with raspberry and cherry notes, and filled with good caramel and bready malt. Just a little dusty funk.
Flavour is sweet and malty with fruit, tartness and some funk.

Not to my special liking as i am not into this style. But being fair it is a well crafted brew very complex. I have heard this is the bases for many of the Belgium beers that fruit is added to. Just not a fan of those but can appreciate.

12.7 oz bottle, 2006. Hazy dark caramel with a dusting of white froth. Nose is sour, sweet cherry with apricot, toffee and wood. Light and juicy with a tingle. Taste is muted cherry, apple and wood with touches of cinnamon and funk. A nice, easy-drinking, mild sour.
