Bottled. Sampled at Byns Bistro, Göteborg. Dark brown. Sweetish nose, notes of spices, licorice and a bit yeasty. Flavour is a little milky acidic with notes of melon, licorice and pepper. Body is medium. Easy drinking here.

Pours dark brown with a quite decent white head. Spicy, slight yeasty and liquoricy nose. Acidic flavour with hints of green apples. Medium bodied. Long aftertaste.

Unexpected this, i was sure this was an unblended lamic, but i now know this isnt the case. Anyway, aroma is smaller than expected but as it warms it has alot more malt and sweetness going on than i thought, similar to a dubbel. Taste is full, fruity, slightly sour though not as much as i expected, and a sweetnes to it also. Alround a very pleasent suprise, need to get it again as iv found 2 places in glasgow that now have it. Same score re-rate, 1987 botle from the kulminator, beers should be like this at all times. RETARE: 1.5L magnium from the kulminator 2002 bottle. Amazing what 5 years has done, theres hints of tart fruit but no sourness at all, rum and raisin are present, over ripe fruit. Smashing beer that never lets me down.

im not a big fan of the sours, pours dark drown with a reddish hue, little head that quickly fades away. the taste was sour, fruit (fermented cherries), sweentness, & some spice present also, the sourness was overwhelming on first sip, but by you 3rd sip hardly noticeable.

- 2001 bottle sampled 7/20/05. Pours a deep brown with red highlights and an inmmediately dissipating head. Aroma is heavy bretta with sour cherries, horse blanket, vanilla and some cookie maltiness. Flavor is heavy sourish with chestnut and vanilla. Loads of sour cherries too. Body is med. Finish is as dry as death valley. A very complex and delicious beer. Hard to drink much of it though with all the acidity.

375ml bottle, 2001 cork. Pours dark red/brown w/ no head. Aroma of cherries, oak, some agrarian yeast character. Drinks w/ a nice body and the tart finish is quickly apparent. Some underlying sweetness and moderate acidity. Nice beer and makes a great carbonade.

Dark colour, brown/black, opaque. Little head, mottled. Smells GOOD. Sweet fruity scent. Coffee undertones, toasty, complex and flavorful. Didn’t have the pucker aftertaste I was looking for.

Dark opaque brown amber. Strong fruity aroma. Fruity in the mouth with a slightly bitter unknown aftertaste. Goes down very easy and is not at all rich.
