Commercial Description:
Infinitely complex in aroma and flavor with notes of maltiness and tartness throughout. An unsurpassed old brown with the richness and complexity of a vintage wine.

Bottle, 2005, brown-red color, tastes far better than it looks. Very nice sour aroma. I liked the flavor, although it didn’t stay as long as i hoped.

Bottle. Really ugly grey-red color. Smells a lot of fruit with some smoke. Sour. Tastes like a bad sparkling red wine with some smoke from regular cigarettes.Overall this beer is a little too thin for all the strange flavors. Big dissapointment.

Bottle, 28th Sept 08. Clear mid brown with a lovely sour apple aroma. On the tongue, lots of tart fruits and a classy underlying caramel maltiness. Refreshing palate and very smooth. Good stuff.

Purple color with lacy white head. Aroma of grapes and malt. Sweetish flavor with a background of tartness, sour finish.

Red brown in colour. Lightly sparkling. Full but clean flavour and leaves a sharp, slightly sour aftertaste.

2005 12 ounce bottle in Duvel glass. Reddish brown with ring and some lace and a few floaters. Funky oaky corky port wine and brown sugar aroma. Toasty oaky brown sugar spice port wine tobacco funky flavor with somewhat acidic finish. Medium body and medium carbo. Infinitely complex is right. This has a lot going on. Very enjoyable, refreshing and satisfying.

Bottle. Poured dark and syrupy. Nose had lots of grapes and was definitely sour.Light carbonation. Tart and sweet, with a wine like feel to it. Finish was sweet than slightly bitter. Interesting, glad I tried it.

375ml pours a murky brown with lots of sediment floatng around. It actually looks like a cascading beer. Aromas of mainly acidic citrus, sour and tart. Flavors are at first tart, then smooth off into an easy drinking acidic brown ale. This stuff is delicious.
