Infinitely complex in aroma and flavor with notes of maltiness and tartness throughout. An unsurpassed old brown with the richness and complexity of a vintage wine.

Very unique and complex. I enjoy sours of this type. Initially, the aroma was off-setting and like vinegar. This improved as it aired out. The color was a deep brown and amber color. There was virtually no head. The carbonation was low and palate light and oily. Very wine-like with grape and sour fruit flavors. It still had a beer essence through the yeast. Complex and clean. Very nice.

Dark brown, off white head. Attic, malty, balsamico. Sweet-sour. Full bodied, you don’t taste the high alcohol.

Bottlet to long tulip Yeast, dark cherry, orange peel, apple, and a touch of booze. Dark reddish brown with active carbonation, but a relatively small, light tan, creamy head. Taste is red grapes, bread, sour cherries, heavy malts, wood, and a touch of spice. A nice festive ale.

oh my. really hard to rate correctly as i have had the wrong associations. aroma was soy sauce predominantly or molasses. found it appaling. some fig, prune notes were nice. brown, with some reddish tint, cloudy (should not be). minimal head, off- white head, good retention. light sweetness, lightly sour, umami, sweet- sour sauce from a fastood joint. awful to associate to. medium body, creamy, slick feel, lively, long finish, sour. couldn’t finish a taste glass of 1 dcl. it does tick a lot of guidelines boxes though..

Bottle home, 6th November 15. Pours fairly dark reddish. Aroma is sweet and sour. Taste is pleasant, not overly sour, but fig, prune juice elements, palate is spot on, not bad, not great

Corpo medio-pieno, ben carbonata, vellutata.

Bottle in the Canalhouse, Nottingham shared with Pix. Ruby with a thin beige head. Fruity cherry aroma. The taste is sweet and spicy with lots of cherry, wood and other red fruits. Champagne like fizz. Excellent.

BOttle, 37,5cL. Home. A dark brown beer witha medium off-white head; medium retention. Woody aroma, acid red berries notes, raspberry, roasty. Medium sweet, light to medium lasting acid ; refreshing. Medium body, thin silky texture, average high carbonation, sweet-acid woody finish. Overall, really enjoyable ; nice woody fruity winy aroma ; balanced ; not complex.
