Infinitely complex in aroma and flavor with notes of maltiness and tartness throughout. An unsurpassed old brown with the richness and complexity of a vintage wine.

There is so much going on here that I feel my palate is not developed enough to give an accurate assessment. A beautiful sweet malty nose. This is a sour ale. You can taste it clearly. If you are someone who thinks you would not like it, take it from someone who thought he would not like it when I say you are wrong. There is a perfect harmony between the malty and the sour. You will not be disappointed.

BOttle, 37,5cL. Home. A dark brown beer witha medium off-white head; medium retention. Woody aroma, acid red berries notes, raspberry, roasty. Medium sweet, light to medium lasting acid ; refreshing. Medium body, thin silky texture, average high carbonation, sweet-acid woody finish. Overall, really enjoyable ; nice woody fruity winy aroma ; balanced ; not complex.

Aroma is Belgian yeast, sweet fruit, somewhat sour. Appearance is red brown, off white head. Taste is subtle, a crisp fruitiness, blueberry maybe, only somewhat sour. Mouthfeel is not carbonated enough, but still does the job. Overall, pretty tasty.

Dark brown with small light brwon head. Easy to drink. Fruity, cherry, tastes a bit like champagne wine. Nice aroma, herbal notes, woody aftertaste, sparkling in the mouth. But i was expecting better. Maybe i did not let it get old enough.

Diep, vol aroma. Rood fruit, krieken, pruimen, rozijntjes, beetje eik. Warme, volle fruitige smaak met klein zuurtje. Heerlijk lange afdronk. Dit bier kan je heel lang bewaren en ontwikkelt zich verder. Bier met nog een grote smaakevolutie. Binnenkort maar paar flesjes wegleggen. Superlekker genietersbier !!

A very light sour smell, closer to cider than to an ale. Then you taste a little bit thick but smooth and easy going fruits, and a little carbonization, a little bit vanilla, more apples, after a while more and more berries. For me this is closer to a champagne than an ale, it is a very nice complex brew and if you can stand the sourness, the taste will be very rewarding! ---Rated via Beer Buddy (iOs)
