2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Mklein818 (172) - Etterbeek, Virginia, BELGIUM - JAN 27, 2010
A strange brew--probably past its sell by date. A bit of faint sourness and a bit of cidery flavor, some floaters as well. Not much sweetness, quite watery in terms of body. I have a JvG glass so felt compelled to try, but don’t see this in my future.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beer3000 (3762) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 4, 2010
375 ml bottle. Dark golden body with floaters (just passed the best before date.) and a diminishing off-white head. Aroma of matured apples, a hint of Madeira and a bit acidic like from wild fermentation. Flavor is sweetish malt, ripe fruit, a touch of burnt sugar and light acidity. Relatively light, very balanced, both refreshing fruity and matured. Quite original behind the refreshing first impression.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Blom (809) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2009
Backlogging: Hazy orange with a dense head. Spicy and very yeasty with some acidic and citric notes too. The yeast is too dominating though.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Gr0ve (2040) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 19, 2009
375 ml bottle. Amber colour.Clear. Small off-white head that clings to the glass. Nice mellow malty aroma with quite a bit of caramel. Light bodied. Beer feels surprisingly light. Great fruity character. Subtle in all respects. Balance is excellent. This one would work really well with food. Not my favorite Liefmans beer, but still this is something of its own. A great beer, but perhaps a little too light?

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 grandgenie (259) - gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 7, 2009

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 EnSiFeRuM (501) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 8, 2008
