CampbellWilson (533), Scotland Jan 7, 2006 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark orange with thin diminishing head. Aroma of citrus hop, spice, caramel. Medium body with a bit of sweetness in the mouth, but finish is dry. Better than I expected. A refreshing if unspectacular beer.
Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate yeasty, earth, toffee - fudge, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. (060708) daniele (830), Italy Aug 18, 2008 ambrata schiuma media piuttosto persistente note di lievito malto leggera tostatura in bocca piuttosto bilanciata non molto luppolata leggero ferroso Geuzelambix (72), København, Denmark Aug 10, 2008 Pleasant taste, and fresh palate, but unfortunately also withoot any aftertaste at all - quite boring frankly. Borresteijn (584), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 8, 2008 Had this on tap @ in de Wildeman a couple of times. Pale orange/amber colour, white disappearing head. Aroma of yeast, nuts, caramel, some fruit. Taste is very soft, nutty, yeast, a little toffee and some spice. This beer appears very bland at first, but after a few sips all its subtle flavours emerge. Very nice brew.
