3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
At Kulminator, after the 2LCRBM. Reddish coloured, small pink head. Stone fruity cherry aroma. Sour fruity taste. Finish is real sour, with fruity touches. This is better than the sweet version.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Available at the Kulminator in Antwerp. Pours right ruby red with a soft pink head. Acidic tart cherry nose. Flavor was tart and mildly acidic. Good sourness to it with an earthy funky finish to it. Very well made beer, I was expecting another sweeter fruit beer from Liefmans, but this really blew me away, what a find.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at Kulminator, Antwerp, Belgium.
Clear deep red body, fine though fast disappearing pinkish head. Lots of cherries in the rather sweet aroma. Marzipan tones. Tart cherry flavor with notes of lemon and some sweetness hiding behind the sourness. Quite full and really tart and refreshing.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Drauhgt at Kulminator in Antwerp - the place besides Erasmus in Brugge which has it - so don’t believe the owner from Eramus that he is the only one who has it and argues with you when you say you had. BTW - if you have something special like this it should be on the chalk menue as ongezoet and not just as Liefmans Kriek - the children beer. Ok - now up to the beer: Dark red clor, acidic sour vinegar-basmico nose. Wonderful taste - very intense sour cherry taste with a long lasting dry finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rich, slightly milky ruby, large light pink head. Nose is balsamic cherries, very cherry pie but not sweet. Almost black cherry soda. Flavor is cherries on the front of the tongue then very acidic lemon, light wheat malt. Not enough sweetness to back it up. Finish is a combination of fresh & old cherries, pure lemon juice. Wheat struggles to shine through.

On tap @ Kulminator. Pours deep red with a pink head. Wonderfully round and soft with notes of fruit, cherries, wood, earth and a nice dryness.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the Kulminator. Dark red coloured, small, bit pinkish head. Lots of cherries and really sour, some tartness. Imho this is more a kriek than a Flemish Sour, as sour fruit dominates and almost no Oud Bruin character is left. Which is actually a pity for me, because i like Flemish Sours way more than krieks.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draught at the Kulminator, Antwerp, Belgium Lightly pink, fizzy head with an excellent lace. Fully diminishing head. Murky red body. Even some remainders of the cherries were floating around in our glasses. Nose of sweet, real (i.e. not cherry-syrup) cherries. Moderately acidic, lightly bitter initial flavour. Moderately acidic, long-lasting finish. Medium bodied. Fizzy carbonation. Liefmans, bottle this one in stead of the sweetened version.
