Pours with an impressive head - this looks good. Initially more sweetness than sourness but the sourness takes over at the finish. This has a nice sparkle, too. A solid kriek.

Oct 5, 2008 Served on draft at Tyler’s Taproom in Durham, NC. Deep red pour with a moderate head. Aroma and taste are both strong cherry with some tart notes, but also a lot of sugar. Candy-sweet, too sweet for a good kriek, though it would serve well as an entry level sour beer.

Oct 4, 2008 Red, dark amber colored brew. Sweet aroma, cherries, berries, nice. Flavor is sweet, cherries, berries again. Some nice subtile sourness in the aftertaste. Nice balanced taste. Together with the aroma it’s a nice balanced brew with different flavors all around.
