Bottle split at JFs, cheers James - 21/07/13. Reddish brown with a big ole light beige head. Nose is tarte berry fruits, soured raspberries, tarte cherries. Taste comprises oaky notes, soured cherry, bitter raspberries, light funk, touch of sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte light puckering finish, refreshing stuff. Decent Flemish red.

On tap at 2SP. Pours a very dark chocolate brown with a thin light tan head. Aroma is oaky and tart with a nice balance of chocolate maltiness. Nicely balanced, with a solid roasted maltiness complimenting the tart earthy oak sourness. Smooth light body with medium carbonation.

On tap 6 oz. pour at Victoria's Gastro Pub in Columbia, MD Clear, orange-red brown with small khaki head and sparse lacing. Aroma of sour fruit, oak, grain and sweet malt. Taste of sweet tart fruit, raspberry, cherry, plum and sweet malt. Medium/light body and medium/low carbonation. Fruity sour ale with a good balance of sweet versus sour, but otherwise nothing special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
