250ml bottle. Soft tart aromas. Pours reddish-brown, with some amber reflections. Develops a small head with poor lacing. Light bodied, high carbonation. Taste is sour, berries, with a sweet aftertaste. Very balanced. Maybe some more body would be ok, but we can always try with Goudenband.

Draft at Wesley Chapel Brass Tap. Pours a muddy brown color with an off white head. Vinegar sourness in the aroma and flavor. Nice palette cleansing beer.

On tap at Fulton Grand with Erica last night. Dark pour, close to black, kind of purple, no head to speak of. Aroma is dry red fruit, pretty grapey. Flavor is pretty much the same - tastes almost more like a fruit beer than a sour. There is a definite tartness to it, but it’s not really acidic or anything, and I don’t get much vinegar. Just kind of tart; wine-like in mouthfeel and even flavor to some extent. Still enjoyed.

Amber pour with a khaki head. Somewhat bland aroma, but there is a nice bit of malt sweetness. Some grape, mild cherry, and a definite acetic sourness. The taste is a bit bland and watery, but as with the nose, there is some fruit character and a mild tartness. Fairly basic and mediocre, just a bit of red wine vinegar and some mild grass.

On tap at Victorie’s. Pours a nice Dark brown, with a very effervescent head. Candy, strawberry and apple aroma. Taste has an almost balanced sweet and sour, with sour coming out on top a bit. Getting grape, juicy tart apple. A light to medium body, with the carbonation fine but also very efferfescent. Too sour for me.

Smell of vinegar and apple. Redbrown colour, light brown head. Sour with mildly sweet aftertaste. Aroma of apple, some vinegar, red berries and raspberry.

Pours an opaque brownish/red with a medium tan head. Aroma has sweet caramel, tart cherry, candy sugar and leather. Flavor has caramel and tart fruit...very mild balsamic hint....cherry/leather/funk. Mouthfeel is light/medium and silky with a tart/sweet candy sugar finish.

This was solid. It had all the mellow sour brown flavors I look for in an Oud Bruin. My one complaint is that, while there was a hint of acetic sourness, the actual acidity seemed low.

Dark amber brown beer, small beige head. Aroma of caramel, mocha, light fruit. Quite sweet, only light sour flavour. Finish sweet, light fruity, berries and apple peel.
Not bad, but doesn’t manage to come near the level of Goudenband.
