Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

Bottle at home. Deep red colour with a pink foam head. Aroma of cherry and other red fruits, like cough syrup. Taste is sweet. Flavours of sappy malt, lots more red fruit with a background of herbal woodiness which is quite pleasant. Lively in the glass but has a sticky finish. Definitely for those with a sweet tooth.

Bottle, courtesy of King_Alex_II. Like a mash of all red fruits you can imagine, very overdone. Carbonation kills all the rest. Ew.

Small bottle (as Fruitesse On The Rocks) from Alcostock in Tallinn (€ 1.89). BB 03.2017. Pours pinkish red, dark and somewhat hazy in the glass, with a pretty big, pink head - drops fast, laces. Looks like some pop. And smells like one, too. Like, really. Berry sweets, Hubba Bubba bubblegum, or rather Chewits... And you know. But as I’m really craving for something sweet right now, it’s not bad... Tastes as sweet, but luckily not too cloying or sticky. Some faint bitterness in the finish. Moderate carbonation, and not too light on the palate. Does come across as pretty artificial, and far from anything beery. Anyone remember the red Fanta, I think it was available some time in the 90s? - It’s a bit like that...

Bottle at the Haymarket. Pours clear crimson with a vanishing pink head. Red berries aroma, plenty of cherry. Taste is more sweet cherry, light mineral note. Very sweet finish.

Too sweet for me. Brilliant red colour. High cherry on the nose and palette. Very little beer character to speak of. No sour notes. Tasted like a softdrink.
