COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

Draft. Amber-brown beer with a cream colored head. Tart and light fruity aroma. Tart flavor with cherry/strawberries, light malt, and light dust. Mediumb odied. Tart and light sourness lingers with cherry/strawberry fruitiness.

750ml bottle split with my wife. Clear red with some pink head. Everything in the aroma and flavor screams fake to me - reminds me of Crystal Light. Sweet and sugary - fruit beers like this just aren’t for me.

Bright, sparkling magenta colour (and I doubt I have ever used that to describe a beer before) with a pinkish head. Intense berry aromas reminiscent of dessert cheesecake topping. Flavours are rich and of the same fruits. Sweet, untuous and a good mouthful of fizzy sherbet mouthfeel. Just a wee bit of a charmer.

Bottle from Waitrose. Red in colour with a decent, off-white head. Sweet, berry fruit and candy sugar aroma with a touch of sourness in the background. Flavour of raspberry syrup, with some oak and a tart, dry finish. Ok.

Aroma of all the red fruits your can think off obviously and a slight caramel note in there. Taste is exactly the same as the nose but the caramel note is replaced by a lovely tartness. Super fruity but balanced by the sourness and super drinkable!

pink pour with a cotton candy pink head. nose is sugar, cherries, raspberries, very sweet. thin on the palate, no certain fruit pops out the most, they’re all pretty well balanced until the finish when you get a bitterness from the raspberry.
