COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

Hazy, light strawberry color. Man enough to be beer, candy enough to be kid. Drink this if the kid in you wants to eat candy. Its strawberry, fake sugar sweet and malty with a hint of bitterness all at the same time. It smells like maple sugar and tastes like fermenting strawberries and sugar. Good job candy beer guys at Leifmans!

On bottle from Jumbo Bilbao , Santiago. Ruby color, good foam. Intense aromas of cherries and high overall fruitiness . Medium/ light body & complexity. Sweet , but ok balance Pretty good beer, but I have always loved cherries

250ml bottle. Clear ruby red colour with average, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, pink head. Minimally artificial fruity aroma has a tart and dry touch, hints of sherbet, yoghurt, notes of any red fruit imaginable. Taste is sweet fruity with yoghurt-like notes of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, any other red berry. Reminds of a taffy-like candy called "Fritt Kaubonbon".

25cl Fruitesse -- Deep ruby with pink head. Strong raspberry dominated fruity aroma. Similar taste, sweetness dominates acidity. Slightly artificial, refreshing, not too bad as a soda pop. But where is the beer?

I tasted this recently under the "Fruitesse" brand. It has a lovely ruby red colour in the glass and smells of cremola foam (for those initiated in such things). The mixture of fruit juices added to the kriek base certainly produces something interesting, although it doesnít have the depth of flavour of more traditional krieks or geuze beers. It is, however, very refreshing and dangerously drinkable. Fruit beers like this will never win over ale purists, but as an example of this strange art it is reasonable, and certainly a lot healthier than alcopops.

Pours bordeaux red in color with whitish head. Cherries and candi sugar in aroma. Sweet cherries, some sugar in taste. Not that bad.

A total surprise. Looks, tastes and smells and feels like norwegian christmas soda. Raspberry and strawberry and a great refreshing and acidic feeling
