COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

Bottle. Carnation pink head with light magenta pour. Lots of sweet pixie sticks on the nose, also pronounced strawberry and cherry aromas. Light bodied with bursting red fruit on the palate. This one reminded me of cherry 7-Up. You could maybe use this to convert a non-beer drinker, but otherwise, meh.

Bottle. Dark reddish pink pour with a small light pink head, not much lacing. Sweet cherries dominate the aroma, a touch of tartness and hits of raspberry and other berries. Flavour is sweet but not candy-like, still allows lots of berry flavour to come through. Decent for the style, but a bit simple and not overly complex or full bodied.

Bottle bought at the Belgian Beer Weekend years ago and rated from notes. A ruby red pour with a sweet berry nose. The taste was syrupy and sweet berries, actually it was kind of cloying and more wine cooler than beer like. A nice drink but not such a great beer.

On tap at the Loose Moose. Pours a clear rubyish colour with thin pinkish head. Aroma is sweet, sugary berry with a little tartness that keeps it from being insipid. Flavour is similarly one note and itís all to much like Kool-Aid - sweet, sugary (though not ridiculously so), lightly tart, artificial berry and nothing else. Light body. Meh.

250ml bottle poured in a chalice. A: Dark red with a one to two fingers rose head. Lot of lacings S: Raspberry syrup. I do not know how itís done but I guess itís not with fruits... T: Raspberry syrup. Quite artificial... Well, first of all, it does not taste like beer M: Like body and high carbonation D: Low Terrible beer. If you want a real fuity beer, please take a Cantillon. sulawang (632) - British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 6, 2014
Visual: Pours cloudy purplish-red with barley any head, thin ringed retention, a few streams here and there. Nose: Super fruit-forward blend of strawberries, raspberries, and cherry. Unreal. (lvl-10)-pungency Attack: fruity sugars Mid-palate: (lvl-5)-sweetness, (MAIN) strawberry, raspberry, elderberry, some cherry, hints of malt Finish: hints of tartness, clean light fruity finish. Summary: This pretty much drinks like a real-fruit soda with finer carbonation. Not much in terms of depth or length, but extremely refreshing and drinkable. A sure hit with the ladies.

Bottle at UhÝrt, september 30th 2014. Clear red body with a small pink to purple head. Aroma of cherry candy, lemonade, slightly tart. Taste is very sweet, sugar and cherries, resembles more lemonade with alcohol than a fruit beer. Still, even if not great itís a nice change for once in a while.
