Tart cherry aroma with other tart fruits. Strong cherry flavor dominates, very sweet and carbonated. Thin body. Alright, not really my thing.

250 ml shared bottle at Cardinal. Cherry and raspberrycandy on the nose. Clear red body with a small pink head leaving good lacing. Fruity sweet and mellow acidic. Mild almonds. Plenty of berries. Light to medium bodied. Mild corn flake finish.

I like the special glass, the fact that you are supposed to drink it on the rocks. Beauttiful red color. Not a beer I would order, but pretty good for a fruitbeer. Too sweet for me.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2013 On draft on the beach. The girl asked whether i wanted my Liefmans ’on the rocks’, they have got to be kidding me... Deep red colored, pink head. Aroma of fresh cherries, strawberries, some Flemish Sour character even. Sweet fruity flavor, again quite fresh, little bit sparkling, more sour towards the end. My expectations were quite low considered the commercial looks and low ratings. But on a summersday on the beach this actually seems like a refreshing drink that even has some Flemish Sour features. May be a lot better on draft than bottled.

Goûté la nouvelle version lors d’une dégustation au boulot. Premier choc: elle est servie avec un max de glaçons! Etonamment, pas trop sucrée, fruits rouges bien présents, le sureau apporte une touche herbacée. Rafraîchissant mais sans intérêt tant on a l’impression de boire un soda!

På fat. Smak och doft av körsbär, hallon, jordgubb och godis. Rosevin känsla med mycket sötma. Rund, len, mycket fyllig. Svår att betygsätta, är det för mycket sötma eller inte? Betyg mellan 3,5-4,1p. Gott i vilket fall.

What a fruit beer just great. Aroma is great I mean great strawberry,sour and wow. Dessert so good. Very carbonate and fruity. One of the best fruit beers I have had.could drink all summer long.

Nice, strawberry-red colored beer, and a modest pink colored layer of foam. It has a very sweet fruity aroma, and somewhat in the distance a touch of bitterness. However, it tastes quite sour, but this turns into a bittersweet aftertaste.
Mooi, aardbeienrood bier, met een bescheiden roze schuimkraagje. Het aroma is vol zoet-fruitig, en heel in de verte een bitter toetsje. De smaak daarentegen is zurig, maar de nasmaak wordt snel bitter zoet.

Sampled thx! to Kraddel. 25 cl. bottle sampled @ Gollem. On the rocks – with ice cubes as required. Dark red ruby pink, little lacing white head. Ice cubes floating… Smell is pure grenadine, not getting anything else, raspberry & strawberry,… Taste is lightly watery – possibly the ice cubes but than again this was the brewers suggestion – sweet watery grenadine, white sugar, artificial sweeteners, strawberry & raspberry flavours,… Body is slightly watery – once again brewers recommendation etc. Eh...
