Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

Pours a raspberry red color from the bottle. Smells of sweet fruity flavors, mostly raspberry and black cherry. Very fruity flavor, starts out very sweet and ends with a bit of a sour note. Overall a bit of an artificial flavor but may be enjoyable especially for those who dont enjoy a regular beer.

Bottle, 330ml. A deep red colour with a small ruby head. Aroma is strong fresh strawberry. Flavour is artificial and slightly sour strawberry, a slight bready yeast flavour detectable in the finish. OK but a poor imitation of a good lambic.

En stor smag af frugt. Den er meget syrlig i første mundfuld, men får hurtigt en god frugtsmag igen. En god sommerøl i varmen

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours deep cherry red with smooth pink head - dissipates slowly with good lacing. Aroma of sweet cherries and very slight spirit alcohol. Taste of sour cherries, white wine, wheat, apples and blackcurrant. Not quite as sour as Belgian fruit beers are at their best, but good example nonetheless.

Called "Fruitess on the Rocks" as they suggest to pour over ice cubes (which I did not do). Red-amber colour, on the dark-side with a long lasting pink head and some decent lacing. Very sweet nose with lots of candy fruits (mostly strawberries, but other berries). The taste is sweet as well with the fruits, cherries mostly adding some nice sourness to blend things. I love these fruity beers, but they are very candy-like, more then a true fruit beer.

0.25l bottle. Clear dark red color with small white head. Aroma of cherry and all those other fruits and some vanilla. Taste is sour and sweet. Same as radlers that are six times cheaper.

Aroma of cherries, taste is lots of cherry, champagne taste, an okay fruit beer. The cherries are not the prominent feature- do get that wierd blend of lots of fruits.

Rating #1223 - Sample at El Cortez staff training w/ ice. Clear, strawberry jam coloured pour with a weak white head, little retention. Taste is very sweet, raspberries. granulated sugar and quite light bodied. A great dessert beer, if a little gimmicky.

250ml bottle poured in Liefmans glass on the rocks "shared with wife". Thanks Ben for the gift. Aroma: intense mix of red fruits (cherries, raspberries) with blackberry. App: red pink, huge off white head. Taste and palate: light body, high and lively carbonation, high sweetness with little acidity finish. Overall: ouf. This is way too sweet and the combination between the thin body, the high carbonation and the high sweetness is really weird. Glad I only took 2 sips from my wife’s glass. That was enough sugar for tonight.

Bottle at home. Aroma of cherry, candy, raspberry. Flavour is very sweet with a light touch of sourness. Body is light to medium. Not undrinkable, but just way too sweet for my taste.

Bottle from Masuyo’s. Pours a clear pomegranate with a small pink head. Aromas of sweet cherry and light raspberry. Taste is sweet with a lot of surgary fruit. It is pretty refreshing though, albeit too sweet. Not bad on a hot day....good carbonation.
