Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

bottle at home. red cloudy color, small white head. intense smell of red fruits and berries, smells of fruit tea, a bit artificial / parfumed smell, also light sour fruity smell, kinda weird and too intense for me. light to medium body, quite bubbly carbonation, bubbly mouthfeel, fruity taste, some sweetness, but overall more sourness, berries, bubbly / fruity / sour finish. overall like the taste a lot better, smell was too artifical. decent.

Clear deep red colour with a fine poring fading pink head. Noses of a potpourri of mainly red fruits such as strawberry yoghurt, cherry, raspberry and hints of blueberry and sweetened blackberry. Softly carbonated with a somehwhat slick texture and a light body. Mainly fruit juice sweetness with a light astringency and a bit artificial. Bit clogging sweet medium finish.

25cl bottle. A beer you can drink on the rocks, which I of course did not do. A fruity beer too, pun intended. Yet, I found it better than expected. Its sweet, but the ripe fruit flavours are quite refreshing.

tbonde (105) - DENMARK - MAR 22, 2015
25cl bottle@home over ice in tall glass. ABV 3,8%. A beer? Not really, but better than expected. Pours dark red with huge pink head. Aroma of cherries, winegum, malt and candy-floss! Very refreshing, intense, sweet taste of red berries, cherry being dominant. Slightly effervecet. No beer left in taste. It was all in the aroma then...the tiny bit of it. However, i would love to serve this on my terrasse this summer to unsuspecting friends.Bet half would like it, like I do, the other half would ask for whatever else I could come up with!
