COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pale golder, Belgian-influenced ale is for everyone: Farm Girl, wannabe Farm Girl. In the Belgian Farmhouse tradition, this brew has a dry malt finish and a spicyness that only Belgian yeasts can create. Smooth and well rounded... this one can please anyone in any situation, whether you are on the water, in the sun, or hiding from winterís chill.

Bottle - Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Nose is light clove, banana--had you told me this was a hefe, I might have believed you. Coriander, a touch of citrus, and a light, dry malt base. Tastes a lot the same--tons of hefe notes, with mineral dryness, white pepper, and a touch of tropical fruit on the finish. Man, not sure I buy this being a saison, but who cares--itís tasty!

Pours a hazy straw yellow. Smell is light, dry, and malty. Slightly peppery. Taste is bready malt with some more pepperiness and minimal bitterness. Pleasant.

On tap at the Nook. Very light gold pour that makes it look like a lite beer. Good crisp flavor it would be a great summer drinking beer.

Originally reviewed: 10/5/09. Pours a very cloudy light gold. Reminded me of a lemonade. Thereís a very fizzy white head right away, but this pops away to nothing very quickly. No lace. Smells of pineapple, honey, and sour apples. The mouth is fairly spritzy, but not harsh. Nice tart flavor right away like apples and lemons. Finishes smooth and bready. I like the aftertaste. I expected more of a fruity finish, but I like this. Not a bad beer by any means. I could have a few of these. Quite refreshing.

12 ounce bottle, poured a light yellow color, aroma is just awful, nothing good to note. Even though the aroma was horrible, the taste was nice. Sme light spice, hay and grass comes through, and a slight funky aftertaste. Over enjoyable beer for the Florida heat, thanks Alpar.

Pours a cloudy orange/yellow with only about 1/8th inch of fizzy white foam. Nice and dry, crisp a bit of fruity sweetness. Finishes with some barn yard funk, hay/grass. Decent beer nicely balanced not over spiced. Biggest knock against it is that itís undercarbed for the style.

Unfiltered golden straw color with no lacing or head to speak of. The flavor is rather typical for a Saison with: cloves, banana, pepper, biscuit and barley with a very grassy flavor around it. It feels light in the body with a moderate amount of carbonation, but it feels very crisp on the palate, which I think is itís best feature. Overall, itís a rather an inoffensive yet boring Saison. If you want a good Saison ale, youíre better off with Ommegang Hennepin or Surly CynicAle

Pours a nice hazy honey gold with a finger of egg shell head and abundant beading. On the nose itís a little spicy, some orange zest, lemon, clove. The taste is refreshing with all the expected saison qualities. I wish this was amped up a bit, both in booze and clove/ester/citrus. The feel is medium with a dry finish. Overall, a bit better than what other reviews suggest but still has its flaws. Perfectly drinkable though.

Has a very light wheat/bread scent, and pours a light golden color. Has a nice Belgian taste to it. Very drinkable and would be good in the summer.
