COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pale golder, Belgian-influenced ale is for everyone: Farm Girl, wannabe Farm Girl. In the Belgian Farmhouse tradition, this brew has a dry malt finish and a spicyness that only Belgian yeasts can create. Smooth and well rounded... this one can please anyone in any situation, whether you are on the water, in the sun, or hiding from winter’s chill.

Light body, a bit watery with a mild malt aroma. Pleasant, well balanced and refreshing. Good summer beer, just not as strong as great saisons, more like a better alternative to a summer lager.

Lighter than I would’ve expected, with a different spice profile, less pepper, more clove. Tasty, but not a saison.

Bottle poured into my HOTD tulip glass.

A - Pours straw yellow with a decent one finger tall white head leaving small wisps of lacing down the glass.

S - Smells like a wheat beer to me. It has a few hints of apples, pears, and lemon but it is mostly just wheat.

T - Starts off with a big dose of chewy wheat slowly giving way to a mix of dulled fruits - similar to the nose - and a touch of light funk. Finish is pretty chewy, lingering for some time. Is this really a saison? Could have fooled me.

M - Light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Chewy feel with a tiny bit of funk, lingering through the finish.

O - Meh, this was ok at best. It really didn’t taste like a saison at all until it came completely to room temp. I wouldn’t seek this one out.

Sweet and malty. Hints of cinnamon and spices. Yeasty aroma. Impressed this was an option at a theater

12oz bottle. Pours clear golden yellow, barely any head. Slightly sour yeast bread aroma, taste is clear and sour. It’s a bit thin to be a saison, but ok.

12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during my stay for GTMW. Somewhat hazy golden color. Little white head. Leaves decent rows of lace. Banana flavor up front. Mild spice, belgian saison yeast. Medium body. Smooth, lightly soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Lightly spicy herbal taste. Light to moderate bitter. Lighter sweet, light tangy taste. Some orange citrus. Solid saison, pretty nice to enjoy with my sandwich.

Clear yellow in color... Aroma of light grains, bananas and cloves... Flavor is more akin to a Belgian wit, lots of cloves, citrus, earthy grains...light yeasty finish... Decent, had way better

Received in a trade from BVery -- Bottle poured into a pint glass, a straw yellow colored beer with almost no head. Smells like oranges and yeast. Flavor is light, effervescent and a little honey sweet. I really like the flavor and the mouth feel.

Clear pale yellow pour with a nice white head. Slight belgian spice in the nose. Mild, very easy to drink. Crisp, simple, refreshing and just a touch spicy.

6 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom as part of a six-beer flight. Consumed on 5-30-14. Pours a hazy, pale straw with light beige to off-white head. Fruity aroma features scents of peach and fruit candy cane. The smell also is tart, with scents of apple cider and apple vinegar. Strong aroma. Tart and dry taste features an apple juice element. There is a touch of aspirin tablet acridity in the flavor, but not in a bad way, believe it or not. Light to medium body. Lively, frothy, crisp, and refreshing in the tablet. Overall, this is a solid American saison.
