Tap. Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is yeast, wheat and honey. Flavor is lightly sweet, with yeast notes more prominent than in aroma, plus apple and a bit of spice. Medium body, silky in the mouth, quite refreshing actually.

Poured from bottle into my favorite tulip glass.
Pours a very clear golden color. Slight head with no lacing. Smells of cloves and slight banana. Smooth taste. Very little to no hop flavor. Dry after taste.
This is a beer for the summer time, although I am drinking it mid-winter in MN, oh well.
Drinkable for sure!

[Bottle] Pours hazy orange with the head basically just a white ring that fades to nothing. Aroma is apricot, coriander, yeast, some maltiness and a touch of alcohol. Taste falls short of the aroma. A little peach, a lot of coriander again and malt. Mouthfeel is fairly thin, but finish is somewhat dry and quite long. Not bad, fairly enjoyable even if it is far from a standout and not real exciting to rate.

Thanks for the bottle Tim. 12oz bottle served in a Bells snifter a few minutes out of the fridge. Subtle lightly toasted malt, light fruits and some pepper in the aroma. Light golden color with a smallish head and active carbonation. Cracker-like malt character, slight herbal and floral hops and some light fruit and a white pepper spiciness at the finish. Easy to drink, but somewhat reserved.

12 oz. bottle acquired via trade with tennisjoel. Pale yellow pour with a thick, frothy white head. Aroma of leather, sweat, and yeast. Actually the aroma is similar to walking into a woman’s hair salon. Flavor is light and satisfying with notes of lemon and orange along with some bread. Not bad.

(on tap, served way too cold) Poured hazy light gold with a thin white head. Aroma is predominately orange peel, coriander, and a decent hit of bready yeast as well. Further warming intensifies these aromas, and a light hint of funk is revealed. The taste is standard saison fare, with coriander, more orange zest, with an underlying sweetness giving way to a pleasant cracker-like finish. All in all, this was quite good, and it would serve well as a sessionable beer in the warmer summer months.

On Cask. Light pour with a medium spicy yeasty aroma. Smooth and light fruit flavors accompanied the spiciness. Had a dry finish. Decent.

Originally reviewed: 10/5/09. Pours a very cloudy light gold. Reminded me of a lemonade. There’s a very fizzy white head right away, but this pops away to nothing very quickly. No lace. Smells of pineapple, honey, and sour apples. The mouth is fairly spritzy, but not harsh. Nice tart flavor right away like apples and lemons. Finishes smooth and bready. I like the aftertaste. I expected more of a fruity finish, but I like this. Not a bad beer by any means. I could have a few of these. Quite refreshing.
