4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Autumn Brew Review 2008. Gold color with a thin head. Light bubblegum aroma, coupled with a lot of fresh cut grass. Very lightly tart malt taste up front, followed by lots of wheat, yeast and an almost herbal spice. This is a killer saison.

Straw color. Tap. Nice floral aroma. Slight sweetness but good balance. Very good standby beer that’s easy to drink. Not girly, despite the name. Well maybe a little girly.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Straw yellow color. Smells much like a traditional Hefe, I get a lot of banana with some bread/wheat in there. Light and crisp, sligtly sweet. Not much in the way of spice that typical saisons have, but a very tasty offering none the less.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAY 19, 2013 12oz bottle split. Hazy, pale, yellow-tan color, soapy off white head that fades into a thin, oily non-presence. Fruity sweet aroma, a touch of lemony funk. I almost get some peach notes in my first sip. Soft on the palate, well above par for an American Saison. Mellow fruity tones, with a gentle peppery hop balance. Fruity tangerine and sweet malt finish. Delicious and refreshing, this is one to seek out. Wow.

12 ounce bottle, poured a light yellow color, aroma is just awful, nothing good to note. Even though the aroma was horrible, the taste was nice. Sme light spice, hay and grass comes through, and a slight funky aftertaste. Over enjoyable beer for the Florida heat, thanks Alpar.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
ABR ’08 - Pours a blonde with a slow dissolving white head. The nose of yeast, a touch of bananas, some light cloves, and subtle notes of white bread malt. Comes across the palate light to medium bodied with some carbonation with flavors of dry white bread malt, bananas, a hint of bubblegum, and dry herbs. Finish is semi-dry with a fast disappearing herbal spice aftertaste.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle into my favorite tulip glass.
Pours a very clear golden color. Slight head with no lacing. Smells of cloves and slight banana. Smooth taste. Very little to no hop flavor. Dry after taste.
This is a beer for the summer time, although I am drinking it mid-winter in MN, oh well.
Drinkable for sure!

Pours a cloudy orange/yellow with only about 1/8th inch of fizzy white foam. Nice and dry, crisp a bit of fruity sweetness. Finishes with some barn yard funk, hay/grass. Decent beer nicely balanced not over spiced. Biggest knock against it is that it’s undercarbed for the style.
