2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Picked up a six pack from Hops & Vines. Pours clear copper amber colored out of a twelve once bottle into a glass with an average sized dirty-white head that slowly dissipates. Aromas of zesty orange and floral hops, a hint of caramel malt and light pineapple and another tropical note I can’t quite put my finger on. Taste is medium bodied, mild bitterness with flavors of various citrus and floral hops that hides most of the caramel malt. Over all I enjoyed this IPA even though the taste doesn’t linger in your mouth as long as most IPA’s do that I enjoy more.

While attending their Irish Coffee stout release, I stumbled across the HOP DISH IPA . It is named after a common, hardy hot casserole meal from the mid west (Minnesota) . Its a right on the nose IPA. Kinda west coast style. Cheers!

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Clear amber with tiny bubbles and a thin white cap. Huge resinous, citrusey, fruity hops, and sugary malts. Taste is a fruity sweetness with a light resinous bitterness. Body is medium with a sticky feel. Tasty IPA, nice balance of fruitiness and resinous without overbearing bitterness.

S: Bready, Grainy Malts, Mildly Piney
T: Grainy Malts, Crackers, Mildly Piney, Mild Bittering Hops

Overall, this beer is more of a malty IPA than a hoppy IPA, not really my style unfortunately.
