Inspired by the delightful combination of whiskey, sugar and coffee. However, you don’t have to be Irish and it doesn’t have to be morning to enjoy this labor of love. Our Imperial Stout was aged in whiskey barrels, then blended with a big Milk Stout, and finally infused with locally roasted cold-pressed coffee. It’s a complex beer meant to be shared with friends over an Irish toast.

Freshly tapped firkin at Keegan’s with "special ingredients"....(Jameson Irish Whisky). 10 oz glass pours coffee black with an off white head and nice lacing. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and butterscotch. Flavor is creamy and rich, semi sweet, with a slight alcohol finish. Wow!

Sampled at esbls. Almost black. Lots of chocolate in this. Lots. Irish mint is lighter butbevident. Milk chocolate and dark varieties. Oakthat brings vanilla and interesting wood effects. Really good.

Dark brown color. Quick dissipating off white head. As soon as the beer is poured out of the bottle it show massive massive sweet lactic roasted malt character. The milk stout is evident even before it hits my glass. The nose shows more bourbon notes with some dark chocolate, but still dominated by the milk stout. Big malty backbone, sweet, bourbon notes. Lots of dark chocolate. excellent.

Damn - whiskey coffee stout to the dome. Smooth, silky, well balanced. Whiskey is nicely integrated in the finished product. Like a baileys beer.

One of my favorite Lift Bridge beers. Seasonal bomber tasting of coffee, vanilla, and cream. The coffee taste is not overwhelming. Excellent Beer.

Bomber. Black with a mocha cap and medium lacing. Vanilla, cream, soft whiskey and coffee, malts, and wood. Taste has a vanilla bean ice cream sweetness with a woody dry finish. Body is heavier with a creamy feel. One of the best brews from Lift Bridge.

This was a great surprise. Not because I was surprised by the quality coming out of Lift Bridge but because we were having a chili tasting at my church and we had a selection of mainstream beers (Summitt) but then one of the guys at church brought this bottle to share. What a treat. There’s a really good balance in the flavors, with a little whisky apparent and a very subtle coffee (honestly, not really figuring into my thinking about the beer), and a richness that was wholly appropriate. Great finish, not noticeably sweet or anything. Definitely a winner. Bottle.

Bottle. Coffee and roasty with a milky sweet finish. Coffee is in great proportion. One of the better coffee stouts I've tried recently. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(750ml bottle) Pours an opaque black body with a small brown head. Aroma of coffee, toffee, chocolate, and vanilla. Flavor of vanilla, chocolate, lactose, light oak, and roasted malt.

Smells like coffee, maybe a little boozy smell. Not really picking up the whiskey aging. Has a sweet taste to it, but also a slight whiskey flavor, but coffee is the main player here. Would buy/drink again. A really solid coffee stout.
