COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There was a time that roaring motors were silent and the only way to traverse the river was a paddle and a smooth stroke. Eastern European brewers set up breweries and gathered golden malts and noble hops to recreate the crisp pilsners of their homeland. Lift Bridge pays homage to these simpler times with our Pilsner, a refreshing pilsner made with golden malt, noble Saaz hops, Bohemian yeast, and a sturdy mash paddle. So hit the river with your favorite friends and trusty canoe, but don’t forget to keep your Pilsner within reach!

Tap at Lift Bridge. Orange-tan body. Soapy white head. Some buttery, grainy straw notes, but true to style. Not quite as zesty or bitter as I’d like, but still has a decent boho feel to it. Light to medium bodied. Kind of funky, in a dirty way. OK, ticker’s tick.

Pour on tap, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought slight grass, biscuit, hints of spice in there, touch of grainy notes in there. Taste is a mix of slight grassy, yeasty notes, hints of vanilla, slight earthy tones, finishing slightly bitter, dry. Decent.

Sampled on tap at Lift Bridge. Pours a golden color with white head. Grainy, earthy, pils aromas and flavors. Good example of a German Pils.

Gold color. Dry malt and hops, with a bitter finish. Decent domestic example of a Bohemian pils, which is easy to distinguish with the with the abundant saaz hops. o

On tap at Northbound, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, malt, and yeast. Taste of solid balanced grain and malt, nice dry crisp light hops, with yeast. This a solid Pilsner, refreshing and easy drinking, a great example of the style!

Tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is solid, nothing crazy. Refreshing and nice to drink. Slightly hoppy bitterness.

Slightly hazy yellow pour with a nice white head. Too bad they are pouring in plastic cups... kind of low brow. Nice nose. Refreshing, mild, sessionable for sure. Nice bitterness in the finish that fades quickly. A good beer for the 4th!
