Tasty tasty. Lots of sediment. Hoppy, but not at all harsh. Sweet, but not sickly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rating #1085 - May 18, 2014 - Bottle from CBI . Clear golden pour with a bubbly white foam, spotty lacing. Citrusy sweet, mild floral hops on the nose.. Mouthfeel crisp, mild alcohol warmth, low-medium carbonation. Taste is sweet orangey lemony notes with the spicy tang and hoppy bite lingers into the finish. Well balanced for 9%. Illogically delicious.

Aroma is roasty sweet hops, caramel, a nice earthiness. Taste is a very nice sweet tasty malt body. Slight caramel notes and some toffee. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly.

Jaune opaque avec un grand tête beige. L’arôme d’houblon et pin. Le goût est du pin avec un peu de agrumes, mais pas beaucoup. Un peu sucré. Bonne et forte, mais un peu léger en bouche pour un impériale.

[5758-20130830] Bottle. Tree resin and floral pine aroma. Hazy, medium orange body with a quick creamy white head. Bitter resiny floral hops flavour. Medium-full body is boozy. Tasty resin hops in a well-balanced brew. (7/3/8/3/15) 3.6

Bottle @ BC Liquors. Slightly hazed orange pour with white foam. Rather tropical hop nose. A lot of pineapple and mango. Good grapefruit and tangerine citrus notes. Some caramel malt sweetness, too. Flavor is slightly sweet with a heavy dose of pineapple, mango, and orange. Some caramel, bitter pine, and a nice grapefruit bite. Pretty decent DIPA.

Pours a pretty clear copper colour with a small dense white head that leaves a few spots of lace on the glass. Aroma is resinous pine, citrus, caramel and some Munich malts. Flavour is resin, pine, grapefruit, medium-high perceived bitterness far from being harsh, mild caramel, and a mild Munich like touch.

Reimer96 (1337) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 18, 2014
Pours lightly hazy orangish copper with a small white ring. Aroma of pine, sweet pale malts, caramel, citrus, tropical fruits, passionfruit and guava. Taste is a rich malt base, caramel, guava, tropical fruits and pine. Malts and hop bitterness are in very well balance. Really easy drinking for a 9.1 percent beer.

Golden tan. Herbal, floral, has a nice earthy, citrusy character, balanced and acidic.

Pours a pretty clear golden with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma consists of dank (or at least pretty intense resin) hops, caramel and light fruity hops. Taste is moderately sweet and bitter, one could wish for more IBUs but this is pretty well balanced I would say. Flavors are of caramel, like a light barleywine (which it kinda is, really) and a little fruits. Finish is bitter and not really harsh. Body is medium, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel slightly sticky. Overall a nice IIPA, not a standout but pretty enjoyable!
