Golden tan. Herbal, floral, has a nice earthy, citrusy character, balanced and acidic.

Pours a pretty clear golden with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma consists of dank (or at least pretty intense resin) hops, caramel and light fruity hops. Taste is moderately sweet and bitter, one could wish for more IBUs but this is pretty well balanced I would say. Flavors are of caramel, like a light barleywine (which it kinda is, really) and a little fruits. Finish is bitter and not really harsh. Body is medium, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel slightly sticky. Overall a nice IIPA, not a standout but pretty enjoyable!

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Hazy orange amber with a moderate off-white head that retains poorly. Aroma is sweet citrus and toffee malts. The palate opens with orange and lightly toasty caramel malts, followed by a bit of conifer and mango, ending with a moderate bitterness considering this is supposed to be imperial. A very drinkable, but not overly potent IIPA.

650ml brown bottle. Deep golden/orange colour, small beige cap. Very light lacing. Hoppy nose, notes of grapefruit and tropical fruits. Taste has some caramel malt sweetness, a ton of grapefruit, tropical fruits. Big bitter finish, lingering grapefruity hops, some pine, orange peel, and a bit of alcohol. Medium bodied. Overall fairly pleasant, but not mind blowing.

Bomber pour. Hazy orange pour with white head. Smells citruisy and malty. Tastes very citruisy as well, some malt and hop flavour, bitter finish. Overall just an ok imperial. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fresh bottle from West Coast Liquor. Not a good DIPA, lemony, not so drinkable. Looks OK, neutral regards aroma.

Cloudy golden color. Peculiar aroma, but nice; strong earthy, pungent hops, manure, iron/tomato sauce. Lean body; malt flavor, with mild straw and toffee character; strong bitterness, orange oils, some hop resins.
Good, but it seems that it’s not very fresh.

Hazy amber color with small head. The aroma is sweaty but even more fruity. Good body strength, yet with a lean mouthfeel; malty flavor, quite sweet but not cloying, fruity nut with a nice mild animal character; strong bitterness that blends in well.
Well designed, strong and fruity.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2014 The smell is a bit off, maybe it is the 9.1% alcohol or maybe is the by product of the yeast getting there. Clear light amber colour with ver little head. The mouth feel is a little thin to begin with but is nicely paired the light carbonation. The taste is fruity, tropical, slightly sweet with a hint of vanilla. The beer finishes nicely, a lasting bitterness makes true to the type. Worth trying but not exceptional.

Pours a bubbly bright amber with highlighted golden notes. The head starts as a puffy inch atop but quickly fades to slim soapy layer. The nose is mildly hopped yet has poignant resin and pine accented aromas. Mid palate is mostly composed of light caramel malts; toasted bread, cereals, grainy notes and a thin pale of sweet fruit. The finish is entirely different with mild mannered hops and a light pine resin coating that leads to sweet tropical fruits such as pineapple, tangerine and peach. The aftertaste is entirely lacking for the style but finds a way to leave a light bitterness in the back of the palate. Overall, a good beer but an entire mess stylistically.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear, orangey-yellow with white head. Aroma of pine and citrus hops, and oranges. Soft semi-sweet malt balanced with light hop flavour, alcohol pretty hidden. Medium body. Finish is a little bit short.
