On tap. Pours a clear dark amber with a small, creamy, off-white head that laces. Faint aroma of caramel malt and a hint of nuts. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, nuts and a hint of chocolate with a dry, bitter hoppy finish. Light body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Meh.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Drank from bottle, no glass nearby. Quite floral, malty, sweet and caramalized sugar. Not bad, not over my complex.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Malt, nut, honey aroma. Red Cherrywood colour with a thin white foam. Taste is fairly light compared to the look of the beer. Delicate hints of walnut and almond with medium carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malts, fruity esthers and light toast. Taste is caramel, toffee, sweet malts, nuts and some sweet fruity notes.. Nice pleasant and balanced amber ale... Could use an addition of citrus hops to add complexity though otherwise a nice smooth beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: Bottle to grolsch glass, beer poured a dark transparent brown with a beige head.
Aroma: Hops come through the most, leafy and grassy. The malt follows with notes of caramel and a strong scent of barley. It is on the weak side though and somewhat uninteresting.
Taste: similar to some English ESBs and that is probably because of water modification. The beer is somewhat sour and harsh, with some hop bitterness.
Palate: thin body, finishes dry, carbonation is medium though mouthfeel has a creamy texture which is weird.
Overall: Decent but not as good as the others in this mix pack.
