COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a premium example of the classic German Pilsner. Clean, crisp and refreshing, the Elemental Pilsner is pleasantly full-bodied. Generous use of German noble hops provides this beer with a complex hop presence with a dry and slightly bitter finish. A bright white, lacey head tops off this award-winning session beer.

22oz bomber from SBD. Pours hazy golden yellow with minimal white head, tiny bit of lace. Smells grainy and malty and sweet. Tastes of very mellow, earthy hops up front and then sweet malts toward the finish, grain flavors as well. Medium body, nice active, yet smooth carbonation. If your in the mood for a pilsner, this is a quality one.

As far as pilsners go, I thought this was pretty good, definitely worth drinking (which is saying a lot for a pilsner.) Has that very Lightning-typical yeast flavor and and a very smooth finish. Good flavor and a decent overall impression.

On tap at Hamilton’s. Light and awesome. Light hoppiness, with light sweetness. Bit of grassy in there. Hints of a lemony yeast. I’m suprised by the low scores.

I liked this beer. Very much like urquell with maybe a bit of cloves. Towards the end of the bottle the hops took over and got a bit dry. 22 from whole foods ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle from my buddy paul in SD.....pours a golden hazy orange brown, almost IPA like, with a considerable white soapy head....interesting aroma of almost resembling a saison. citrus and sweet tropical fruit, mustiness, and a sweet tartish nose.... flavors aren’t as vibrant but some of the same notes are present, however dumbdowned. some added spice and yeastiiness as well. high in carbonation with a dry finish.

Light golden in color, clear with a thin white head. Nice Pilsner flavor and aroma. This was a clean easy drinking brew.
