riversideAK (1334), Shoreline, Washington, USA May 9, 2008 From South Bay Liquor. Pours a yellow gold with a nice big head and super sticky lacing. Aroma of corn sweetness, metallic alcohol. Perhaps some grassy hops. The flavor is pretty sweet and grainy. Corn, bread, a light bitterness. A little metallic. Tastes like your standard malt liquor but with better ingredients and no chemicals. I like malt liquor, and I liked this one. I wish I had more, kind of. Angeloregon (1260), Portland, Oregon, USA May 8, 2008 Poured a robust straw yellow body with a small white head. Piss pils smell. Flavor of malt liquor and sour apple metallic skunkiness. Not very quaffable. Pretty unenjoyable. pepsican (510), coralville, Iowa, USA May 7, 2008 Thanks to kingG for this bottle. Thanks Joey! hazy gold pour with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet malt and heavy grain. Lots of sweetness in the flavor, some bread, corn, and a bit of alcohol. Grainy finish, good amount of carbonation. Beershine (1010), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Apr 28, 2008 Draught at Stone World Bistro. Clear, deep golden. Roasted corn in the nose. Is well-structured with a good balance of sweet and dry with a touch of alcohol in the finish. Quite unique actually. JorisPPattyn (4150), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 22, 2008 Draught No head over orange, still beer. Some malts and a very light sour nose as from pickles. Winey taste, a bit sweet, with just references to hops. Cookies (fresh) and garden herbs. Some finish bitterness. Medium bodied. Bitter almonds in the aftertaste: the alcohol showing. Light bodied, but not unenjoyable. A lighter alcoholcontent might make it a good sessionbeer.
