Flavor is herbal, earthy toast, sweet, DMS, light tartness and metallic hints, bitter orange rind, zesty grassy and herbal hops- cardboard and oxidation as well. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Bomber. Pours a red-amber, somewhat murky, with minimal (to no) head. Lots of effervescence. What aroma there is is of sweet, grassy, barnyard funk, with maybe a touch of bread. Taste is very sweet. LOTS of malt. Caramel-check; bread-check; hay-check, I think; etc. etc. Hops are resin and floral with some grass. Some taste of dough and cheese, but very little. Otherwise, the alcohol is well hidden. It’s not bad, there’s just not too much going on. As a "lager", it’s true to the "style" I guess. Not sure if I’ll finish it or not. daknole (3166), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Orange/gold pour. White head. Aroma is a malt bom. Corn, light honey and caramel. Flavor is sweet and full of corn and grain. Ok. BMan1113VR (3129), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours with a small white head over a hazy golden body with good lace. Aroma of corn, grass and spicy grain. Taste is alcohol, bready with sweetness, grassy notes and some crispness. Light bubbles and quite refreshing for the high ABV. Couldn’t really bring my self to drink a lot of this, had a nasty flavor when it warmed and the alcohol clashed. Papsoe (15648), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Sweet and malty nose. Medium body, very solid and sweet malt base while I don’t really pick up any corn. Hardly any bitternes. Perfect if you love malts! 070709 yespr (12844), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2009 This stuff is hooch, plain and simple. Way way boozy. The flavor is actually pretty nice, but it’s just too damn big to be appreciated as an American lager. It’s a craft brewed malt liquor, plain and simple. theisti (1729), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 6, 2009 22 oz bottle purchased at Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido, California. Pour is very slight haze golden yellow with a one inch white head that falls immediately. A bunch of carbonation bubbles. Aroma of sweet cherry, slight metallic and some light straw. Taste is sweet cherry vanilla, edgy dirty grassiness, turns really chemically in the middle. Palate is medium, cloying sweetness - really strange almost plastic thing going on. Big fusels. This was more like a malt liquor then other craft malt liquors I have had. Not a great thing.
