CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 20, 2008 Pours a hazy orange color with a thin, white head. Aroma of lightly sweet caramel malt and some fruity esters with a mild grassy floral hop character. Body starts lightly sweet and caramely with a touch of earthy bittering hop balance with lightly tart notes toward the finish. Fairly interesting beer, but I’d prefer it without the tart character. hopscotch (4588), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Feb 20, 2008 Bottle… VBWT2008… Cloudy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is of orange marmalade along with gobs of caramel and hints of toffee, pear and apple. Full-bodied and chewy with modest carbonation. Big-time caramel and toffee flavors. Finishes sweet and fruity. TheCheeseMan rocks! jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA May 4, 2008 22 oz bottle @Vero Beach Throwdown-pours a dissipating off white head and copper color.
