Commercial Description: Das Lilienthaler Dunkel als Alternative, ebenfalls naturtrüb im
Ausschank mit leicht malzigem Geschmack, das mittlerweile eine
nahezu gleichstarke Fangemeinde erobert hat. Es verfügt über eine
sehr ausgeprägte Schaumhaltigkeit, sowie eine Vollmundigkeit,
die aus aus einem hohen Restextrakt resultiert.
Die Farbe - dunkel-rötlich - entsteht durch ein höheres Darren
(Rösten) des Malzes. Der Stammwürzegehalt liegt hier bei
ca. 12% das entspricht einem Alkoholgehalt
von ca. 4,8 Vol %.
Draught at the brewpub. Quite malty and nicely roasted aroma. Cloudy brown colour. Stable and creamy light brown head. The flavour is nicely malty and creamy with some mild chocolate notes. There is also chocolate in the aftertaste. Semi-high carbonation, but a nice and pleasant beer. Really well-done beer.
