På kran i bryggeriet 17 Okt 09. Gyldent på farge. Litt uklart. Høyt kremaktig skum. Veldig innbydende fruktig aroma. Rik fruktig smak med innslag av høy. Ikke særlig bitterhet. Langvarig ettersmak med innslag av litt malt. Veldig god!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Kestral (505) - Årnes, NORWAY - SEP 6, 2009
Tap at brewpub. Slightly hazy golden with a big creamy white head. Aroma is very inviting, very fruity and juicy. Citrus, sweet apples and a hint of something tropical like, perhaps passion fruit. Fairly low on the malt sweetness that often overpower norwegian pilsners. The flavour is crisp and fresh, the same fruity notes return, perfectly balanced with bready malts, with a solid bitter grassy hop finish. Body is light to medium, carbonation is smooth and it feels quite creamy. Endlessly drinkable, very flavourful. I hope this will be as good bottled. The best pilsner I’ve had.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 9, 2009
400ml served reasonably chilled on tap at the brewpub. The body colour is golden-amber with a slight haze and with a few white floaters on the top. Inviting smell of sweet citrus in the direction of mandarin. Appetising taste of smooth apricot and clementine with malts coming through. Dry bitter ending. Very refreshing and easy to drink. A well brewed rendition of the style and, for the time being, the best pilsener made in Norway (Lillehammer, 06.02.2009).

UPDATED: APR 9, 2008 On tap at the brewery: Golden clear colour, with a nice head. Aroma of malts, fruits, a nice dry hopy nose in the end. Nice! Flavor was a surprise, a balanced maltynes with a sweet smouth creamy flowery mouthfeeling. Medium fruity finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 yngwie (10761) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 14, 2008
On tap at the brewpub, 33cl. I sure was surprised when I took the first sniff of it, as I expected a rather bland, or maybe decent pilsner. There was a lovely fruity aroma, with some notes of pine and citrus. It was quite low on maltyness, at least compared to the hoppyness, and smelled delicious. The pour had a rather dark golden color, was clear even though it was unfiltered, and had a nice, dense off-white head. on top. In the mouth, the malty flavors was more on level with the hops, and some sweetness was detected too. It was quite creamy in the mouth, with a medium fullness. This very sessionable pilsner is for sure the best pilsner in Norway at the moment!. (080216)

330 ml on tap@the brewpub. Clear golden-brown color. Dense creamy beige head. Inviting aroma of ripe yellow apples, light sweet malts, and notes of mild refined floral and grassy hops. Taste is mellow; toasted malts with a pure, light sweetness. Fresh apples in the flavor as well. Notes of herbs, mild spices with a gentle hopbitterness underneath .Light to medium body. Dry malty, light bitter end. A well-made and harmonious beer, very nice
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 17, 2008
Medium white creamy head. Copper body. Delicate spicy fruity caramelly aroma with roasty notes. Very harmonic and balanced. Dryish fruity roasty caramelly taste, very delicate. Clean, fresh mouthfeel. Dry spicy fruity aftertaste. Excellent! Too much dark malts for a normal pilsener, but still an excellent beer. (0.33l draft at the brewpub.)
