Pleasant toffee scent of malts. Dark brown creamy lasting top. Smooth caramel notes give a pleasant foundation for an easy drinking porter. Bitter tang in the background. The pick of the core LG range.

Hand-pulled half-pint at the Chesterfield Ale House on 20th Nov 2014. Poured a clear dark brown, on top a weak but lasting tanned head. Dry roasted maltiness rules the brew, the nose has maltiness all over it, as does the flavour. Mild bitter chocolate notes within the dryness, some dark fruit hints in there as well. I took to this, my last beer of the session.
