Dark brown colour. Tight creamy head. Light aroma with a hint of malt and caramel. Nice flavour. It stays quite biiter, not too sweet.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (6707) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2008
A red copper ale with a thiin off white head. A light fruity ester aroma, non-descript, a tad boring. In mouth, sweet caramel malt, with a nice gin alcohol finish, burned caramel, Medium bodied. On tap at Arendnest, Nov. 2006.
4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 dirkbreedveld (286) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 30, 2006
After a few years tasted again, and for me one of the best dutch bockbeers there is. Classic ruby/brown color, aroma’s of fruits and grainy malts, slightly toasted. Taste is sililar to the smell, aftertaste is perfection in sweetness and toasted bitters.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 altonbrownd (3419) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 28, 2006
Bottle at Heffer, A’dam. This is smooth bock, chocolate/caramel taste. It has a really strong, wicked aftertaste. My man Arne hooked me up with a remaining bottle of it.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Papsoe (21781) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2005
(Bottle 30 cl) Ruby red is what the label claims this beer to be, I’d rather call it mahogany. But pretty it is indeed, with a reddish brown, full, almost greasy head. Very full-bodied, lots of dry caramel with some sweet notes. Some bitterness for balance which succeeds completely making this a very well crafted and harmonious Bock. A beer of very high quality. 080903
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Liberty (52) - Stompwijk, NETHERLANDS - OCT 24, 2004
Lindeboom Bok
Tasted this beer on the Bockbeer festival in Utrecht, The Netherlands, on draft. A nice beer, but not especially a bock in my opinion. A amber color. There is a nice balance between sweetness (caramel) and bitterness (hops).
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Mads Langtved (2246) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2002
Caramel, coffee. Pretty heavy, like a strong Belgian ale. Quite bitter and aromatic at the same time.
