After a few years tasted again, and for me one of the best dutch bockbeers there is. Classic ruby/brown color, aroma’s of fruits and grainy malts, slightly toasted. Taste is sililar to the smell, aftertaste is perfection in sweetness and toasted bitters.

Caramel, coffee. Pretty heavy, like a strong Belgian ale. Quite bitter and aromatic at the same time.

A nice Bok, not as sweet as most Dutch Bokbiers. Improved a lot when they changed to topfermenting this beer.

(Bottle 30 cl) Ruby red is what the label claims this beer to be, I’d rather call it mahogany. But pretty it is indeed, with a reddish brown, full, almost greasy head. Very full-bodied, lots of dry caramel with some sweet notes. Some bitterness for balance which succeeds completely making this a very well crafted and harmonious Bock. A beer of very high quality. 080903

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep amber with small diminished white head. Light breadish and mild aroma with a dry bitterness showing through into the finish. Dry and spiced. Dry and breadish.

Bottle at Heffer, A’dam. This is smooth bock, chocolate/caramel taste. It has a really strong, wicked aftertaste. My man Arne hooked me up with a remaining bottle of it.

Light port and cookie mixed aroma. Dark amber colour, light brown rocky head. Good lacing. Moderate sweet with caramel and hops. Long caramel finish.

A red copper ale with a thiin off white head. A light fruity ester aroma, non-descript, a tad boring. In mouth, sweet caramel malt, with a nice gin alcohol finish, burned caramel, Medium bodied. On tap at Arendnest, Nov. 2006.
