Gouverneur Blonde is a top-fermented special beer with a very characteristic, strong taste and an unparalleled fruity aftertaste. A beer that you would like to keep on flowing. Gouverneur Blonde is brewed with hop (the renowned Tettnanger hop from the South of Germany) and an extra large quantity of barley malt. Hence its golden colour, its full-bodied and malty aftertaste and an alcohol content of 6,5% by volume. Gouverneur Blonde is a beer that is brewed with love and affection. Connoisseurs know that and we have plenty of connoisseurs over here.

Clear orange golden colour, big firm white head. Malty aroma, light fruity. Pronounced yeast. Quite sweet flavour, slight bitter hops touch. Bit of marmalade. Quite silky mouthfeel, Short but medium bitter finish.

30cl Bottle: best before Apr 2013, poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru badged tulip @ home on 7th Nov 2012. Nice looking beer: light amber body that is clear and bright, on top a full, deep foaming head which although shrinks, does try and hang around for a while. Malty nose of sweet molasses, some yeast notes too. This is a fairly sweet Blonde and she knows it: biscuity, shortbready malts with a summer orchard of fruitiness along with the blossom. I prefer this sort of beer to the sour or bitter types and this Dutch Blonde and I would get along just fine at any time of the year, any where in the world.

(bottle, 30cl) Almost clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Biscuity and slightly sugary malty aroma with almost perfumed fruitiness. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Buscuity malty and slightly fruity taste with notes herbal hops, as well as alcohol, especially towards the sweet-bitter finish. Profane. 16.X.12

Bottle. Golden, average to large and mostly lasting head. Moderate malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish aroma, light fruitiness and spiciness (coriander), faint yeast. Body is medium, malty - lightlty wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, light fruitiness and spiciness. Finish is average, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish, light spiciness and hoppyness. OK fruity blond ale, not too sweet/too spicy.

Uit de fles. Goudkleurig, snelverdwijnende kraag. Aroma en smaak van sinaasappel. Behoorlijk zoet. Wel ok , niks speciaals.

Clear golden ale with an aroma of sweet fruit. Flavour of sweet unbalanced fruts, swift bitter sweet aftertaste. Not very nice.

Golden almost clear, creamy white head. Apple, yeast, Belgian feel to this. Prickly body, smooth. Sweet start, light bitter middle. Uninspiring. (33cl bottle, cheap)

Countbeer (6208) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2012
Bottle: Medium white head which changes quick into a vast and closed white lacing and after a while it leaves a small white island on top of a clear (yellow) orange colored beer. Smell lot of yeasty fruit, green apple, some sharper tangerine and orange, stingy grains and hay. Taste sweet grains, fruit, apple, abricot, malts, soap, some sweets, a growing but still medium bitterness, yeast, slight hint of herby hops and something light sharp stingy and light glue a like. Spicy grainy yeasty fruity bitter aftertaste. Medium carbo, soft and spicy mouthfeel, meium body and a light watery/creamy texture. Another one of the many yeasty and bit unbalanced beers.

Clear, golden yellow appearance with puffy white head. Spicy, fruit, hay, and unnecessarily sweet.
