Gouverneur Blonde is a top-fermented special beer with a very characteristic, strong taste and an unparalleled fruity aftertaste. A beer that you would like to keep on flowing. Gouverneur Blonde is brewed with hop (the renowned Tettnanger hop from the South of Germany) and an extra large quantity of barley malt. Hence its golden colour, its full-bodied and malty aftertaste and an alcohol content of 6,5% by volume. Gouverneur Blonde is a beer that is brewed with love and affection. Connoisseurs know that and we have plenty of connoisseurs over here.

Clear golden color, short white head. Aroma of sour apple, some caramel malts, hay. Sweet sugar taste, bit hay. Hopbitter palate.

Paler amber; very little head, dwindling to white rim. Nose of cookies, faint almonds - almondbiscuits or frangipane?, leafy. Rather watery, at first sweet crystal malt taste, resembling an English keg ale if anything. Rather bitter retronasal taste, unrefined hopping. Quite heavily carbonated, despite the little head - no contribution to the taste, though. Watery texture; aftertaste becomes biscuit-like again. Another superfluous addition to the BlandBeerBrigade. Why a small familybrewer dabbles in this?

Same skunky aroma as a germanstyle pilsener, only sweeter. golden/amber coloured; clear. Not much head. Taste is bitter, fruity and a bit sweet. Hopbitter palate. Can't say it's great.

Only slight citrus and wheataroma. Sweetish flavor with an apple and orange fruitiness, wheat and honey.
