(bottle, 30cl) Almost clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Biscuity and slightly sugary malty aroma with almost perfumed fruitiness. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Buscuity malty and slightly fruity taste with notes herbal hops, as well as alcohol, especially towards the sweet-bitter finish. Profane. 16.X.12

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Beautiful clear red-copper beer with nice carbonation and head.
Smell is peachy citric. Some bread. Classic Belgian stuff.
Mouty bitter taste. Salty. Bit too dry. Alcohol-free-like taste. Yo can tell it’s made by Lindeboom.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
30cl bottle, Dutch sampler from Bierenco deliberately hit at coronation day. - sweet Leffe-style honey malt profile clashes with fizzy carbonation, fine and assertive spicy Tettnang hops. Results in a sweet beginning, sticky palate and bitter, slightly alcoholic aftertaste: odd and unbalanced. +points for quality ingredients, -for unhappy syntax.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The head is good, the body orange. It smells citrus, creamy fruity bit avocado, hoppy-fruity, yeasty. The taste is aromatic, hoppy, malty, refreshing, citrus, fruity. Nice ine! 11/11/11/12/11/11

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
300 ml bottle at home, poured into my tulip glass.
Two fingers of soapy white head, with very good retention after it loses hald of its initial height. Lots of bits and pieces floating around after my hard pour. Colour is deep orange golden.
On the aroma yeast, some alcohol, hops and peach. Rich and full, somewhere on the back some malts too.
Taste is quite sweet and malty, which in combination with the high alcohol make this beer taste like an imperial pils. Not necessarily bad, but lots of the elements on the nose are gone and only the alcohol and the malts , now much more pronounced, have remained. Thankfully, it leaves a bitter aftertaste with lots of hops.
Medium body, carbonation slighty above average, just a bit dry on the palate.
Now, this is not anything very special, but it’s an honest blond strong beer. It won’t make you love it but it won’t disappoint you either.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Golden, clear but a light haze visible, small - nevertheless persistent - creamy off-white head, orangey-fruity nose, some grainy tartness in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and relatively soft; a slight alcohol-burn shows up in the sweet and bitter finish. Nothing wrong with this archetypal belgian Blond...

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
30cl Bottle: best before Apr 2013, poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru badged tulip @ home on 7th Nov 2012.
Nice looking beer: light amber body that is clear and bright, on top a full, deep foaming head which although shrinks, does try and hang around for a while.
Malty nose of sweet molasses, some yeast notes too.
This is a fairly sweet Blonde and she knows it: biscuity, shortbready malts with a summer orchard of fruitiness along with the blossom. I prefer this sort of beer to the sour or bitter types and this Dutch Blonde and I would get along just fine at any time of the year, any where in the world.
