Strong caramel aroma with a hint of chocolat. Ruby color, light brown head, good lace. Sweet, light roasted, butterscotch, little thin. Long lasting finish with a light sourness.

Bottle:
Nice medium sized tan head which disappears with regular speed an leaves a On top of a deep ruby colored beer.
Smell malts, pilsmalts, something light toasted, cleaner, soap, caramel, butterscotch, light hop and hop bitter tones.
Taste sweeter barley malts, caramel, sweeter nuts, hint of brown sugars, so far for the sweetness (this beer is not sweet but has a fine malty sweet kind of tone), toasted barley malts, herbs and spices, creamy, some bitter tones, slight hint of something hoppy and a light dryness.
Nice nutty malty herby toasted aftertaste.
Medium carbo, soft mouthfeel with a light sparkle, medium bodied and a creamy texture.
Way better than the blonde!

On tap at Beer Bier. Beautiful clear amber color with minimal off-white head. Sweet, creamy aroma with alcohol and nuts. The odor is like Belgian ones. Light bitter-sweet taste. Medium body with creamy texture and average carbonation. Delicious malty finish. It’s a light, but delicious beer with some Belgian feeling.

Cloudy deep amber/brown one with a small creamy tan head. Caramel and raisins, toasted and burnt sugar in the moderated aroma. Medium bodied one with a caramell and toasted grains, light fruits, raisins. Easy drinkable one without any big exciting character.

on tap @beer bier, budapest. Nice dark cola brown appearence with nice creamy brown/off white head. aroma is of caramel breadwith a slight grassy tone. mouth is full. very soft carbonation and more creamy than the beer looks. caramel, grassy notes coming though with clean finish.. 6.5% abv and it is just on the limit with the alcohol in the taste. nice dark beer with nice kick!

30 cl. bottle @ home. Red brown with an off-white head. bitter sweet with some caramel in it. A very pleasant beer and a change of pace in regard to all the other (Belgian) brunes.

Soft, malty flavour. Has a light sweetness. Texture is a bit thin. Overall a nice but atypical ’brune’ beer.
