draught from tap in Amsterdam. red-brown colour with whitish head. Strongest element is caramel in the taste - an enjoyable beer.

Bottle, bought @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours murky dark red, with a medium, frothy, beige head. Aroma is mild, sweet caramel, yeast, raisins, plums. Highish carbonation, fairly dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit chalky dry, caramel, plums, soft chocolate. Kinda average.

Brown beer, cream head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts and brown sugar. Light sweet flavour, light bitter. Medium finish, roasted malts with a sweet touch.

Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light caramel and light fruitiness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, light caramel and light alcohol. Sweetish brune with caramel, nothing special.

Bottle: Almost clear, ruby-amber coloured, persistent small off-white head, sweet and clear caramelly-fruity nose with a well hidden bitterness; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, quite full bodied, but a bit fizzy; lingering sweetish malty-fruity finish, followed by a slight alcohol-burn in the aftertaste.
