Bottle from Bierkoning, thanks! Simple, soft, uncomplicated and enjoyable beer. Well hopped, then comes the malt and only afterwards some Belgian fruity notes reminiscent of orange and apricot. Medium strong, a tad astringent bitterness. Good beer although the flavour in the medium part seems to be missing somewhat, comes across a bit watery.

Like a pilsner, with just a little more taste. Otherwise boring and average.

Goudgeel bier, redelijke kraag. Aroma is fris wat brood. Smaak is licht bitter met klein zoetje.

30cl bottle at home. Slightly hazy orange with a small white head. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Honey sweetness with some malty bitterness. Citrus, honey, grass and herbs. A decent refreshing brew.

Bottle from Mitra @ HT. Clear golden colour with a white head. Nose is malty, bit of honey, some yeast. Flavour is malty, a bit sugary, slightly sweet, light fruity. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Easy drinkable but not much to it.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is yeasty and fruity, and the flavour is a mixture of bitter and yeastiness with a Belgian ale fruitiness. Overall a nice Belgian ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bought a bottle at Jan Linders in Eindhoven. The beer has a yellow golden color and a small white head, CO2 level is medium. In the aroma tones of flowers and berries. An easy to drink beer with in the taste tones of tropical fruits and itís subtle hoppy. The finish is refreshing and a little hoppy, you want another sip. I donít know why they call this Ale, itís more a pilsner for me. Despite itís a little watery, this is a very refreshing beer. I want another one.

Iím baffled at what makes this beer a íspecialeí, because weíre dangerously close to pilsener territory with this one. I like the Gouverneur Blonde much better.
